Be the Rapid Response Pets Need!

This year, we have seen an unprecedented three times the number of cruelty and neglect cases at our shelter compared to all of last year. These aren't just statistics; they are animals arriving broken, hungry, traumatized, and in need.

On top of that, we are facing an immense strain on our resources:

• Decreased Adoptions: Our kennels are beyond maximum capacity because fewer people are adopting, making it difficult to take in new animals who desperately need our help.
• Rising Costs of Care: The cost of veterinary care continues to rise year after year. With more sick and injured animals arriving every day, these expenses are pushing our medical budget to its breaking point.
• Facility Emergencies: Recent facility emergencies, like our kennel AC unit needing to be replaced in the middle of summer, forced us to shift funding just to keep our animals safe and comfortable.
• Donations are Down: On top of all this, donations are down since the beginning of the year, leaving us without the critical funds we need to meet these mounting challenges.

To be frank, we don't know how we can overcome this without our community. We have established a Rapid Response Fund to cover the immediate costs of life-saving care for our animals. This fund is how we keep up with this overwhelming need.
